Though we are past the animation unit and making GIFs I found this amazing series worth sharing. This photography project called rrrrrrrroll started in Japan. What attracted me was the minimalist approach to these animations and how it had a central focus. Also I was very impressed by how the photographs feature nothing out of the ordinary day. Everyday things were manipulated and made into very captivating pieces of art. The loops in these animations are also on point. The viewer cannot tell where the animation begins or ends, which I could imagine being difficult because all the animations feature a consistent rotation (hence the project name “rrrrrrrroll”.
