Candy Chang is an artist focused on how we use public spaces, and she explores making cities more comfortable and contemplative places. She created Before I Die which is a global art project with more than 400 “Before I die” walls in 60 countries and 25 languages. Candy Chang created the first “Before I Die” wall in 2011 on the side of an abandoned building in New Orleans which turns public places into areas that unite the community. Her walls are really inspiring and beautiful, and it makes me think about what I want to do before I die as well. You can find all of the walls that have been created in this global art project at http://beforeidie.cc/site/blog/category/walls/.
