Most modern sculpture is a pointless wandering of graceless heaps of metal in abstract forms. This, on the other hand, is a poignant and graceful heap of metal in abstract forms. The sculpture outside the holocaust museum in D.C. caught my eye as I walked by it. The convoluted, twisted metal resonates with the pain and despair, and brings empathy and grace to a situation of “holy shit this can’t be happening to me”
